This Safari leads you to the Queen Elizabeth National park which covers 2.056 Km's of the land, it is located in the south of the Rwenzori Mountains , bordering Congo and including two lakes, Lake Edward and Lake George that are connected by the famous Kazinga Channel which supports the experiential boat crusie. It is an ecosystem made of wetland and open Savannah areas, on an altitude of 910 m at Lake Edward.

DETAILED ITINERARY DAY 1 : KAMPALA - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Your driver / guide will pick you from your hotel at 7:00am in the morning. Please be ready and keep time, We like to start the journey early to beat the traffic jam as we will be traveling non - Stop for about 283Km to Mbarara town for lunch at Agip Motel. Here you will have some delicious food, use the toilets. And generally relax for almost 30 minutes and then we will continue to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National park, you will check in your accommodation depending on the trip you have booked for, the options being, Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury), Kingfisher Lodge (mid range) and Bush Lodge ( budget). Full board !
You will have a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel at exactly 2pm for great sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and lots of amazing water birds like fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, skimmers, cormorants, ibis, bee - eaters, plovers and so much more. The great views along during the boat cruise will totally brush off the exhaustion of the long hour travel.
Return to accommodation after the two hours Cruise, and have dinner, shower and rest.
DAY 2 : MORNING GAME DRIVE, BACK TO KAMPALA
Wake up at 6:00am, have a cup of coffee and be ready for the morning game drive at exactly 6:40am. This will give you a chance to see the early risers, you will encounter buffalos, water-bucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, cats such as lions, hyenas and leopards if you are lucky, lot of birds and who know you should expect surprises, these animals are unpredictable! So you put your adventure hut on and keep your fingers, you might be the lucky one to get the real test of the African "jungle"!
After the game drive which will be approximately three hours, return to the lodge, have a shower, breakfast and get ready with your belongings and personal effects. You will be picked by your driver and you will head out of the park around 10:00am - 10:30am A lunch stop will be at Agip Motel in Mbarara, have quick lunch, get back on the road, driving along the Lake Mburo National Park in Kiruhura District. You have a chance of sighting zebras, impalas just by the road side.
The last stop will be made at the Uganda Equator, you will definitely love to take this memory back home with plenty of pictures. At thus point, you will do a quick minute shopping, your tour guide will be more than happy to help you negotiate for the best prices. From the Equator, you will be driven straight to Kampala and drop - off to your hotel.
